About NTS

Working in cooperation with members of the Oregon University System (OUS), private sector partners and Oregon state government, NTS is responsible for managing, administering and providing centralized phone, data network, and wireless services for the Portland State University community and OUS institutions with a presence in the Portland metropolitan area.  We also provide phone and high-speed internet service to PSU student residents in the Broadway, Blackstone, Epler, Montgomery, King Albert, Parkway, Stratford, St. Helens, and Blumel (formerly West Hall) University Housing buildings. Our mission is to provide the high quality, cost-effective network and telecommunications services required to assist in the support and optimization of the University's investment in teaching, research, and student resources. In carrying out our mission and providing our services, NTS places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction; cost-effective, centralized management practices and principles; maximizing the return of PSU's investment in network and telecommunications technologies; strategic and tactical planning and positioning for the future; and efficient and effective service delivery practices.
