Faculty and Staff | Thunderbird IMAP Connection
In order to set up Thunderbird to access your CallXpress voicemails go to the Tools menu and Select Account Settings . This will bring up the following window. Select Add Account.
Select Email Account and click Next
Enter your full name and email address. Your email address is your 5-digit voice mailbox extension @voicemail.pdx.edu.
Select IMAP for the type of incoming server and enter voicemail.pdx.edu for the incoming server.
Under Incoming User Name, enter your 5-digit voice mailbox extension.
Finally, enter the account name you want to use to identify this account.
You should see the following window. Click Finish to complete your setup.
In the main Account Settings window, select Server Settings and change the secure connection to SSL.
You may receive a message saying that the certificate cannot be verified. Accept the security certificate to connect to your voicemail box.
When you go to access your voicemail a window will pop-up requesting your password.
Enter the password you have assigned to your voice mailbox and click OK.
Your voice mail will be sent as an attachment to your email message.
