• What is an NTS Coordinator?

The NTS Coordinator Program was developed to increase the responsiveness of Networking and Telecommunications to the specific and varied needs of the many departments at Portland State University. The NTS Coordinators are made up of representatives from each department at PSU, and are trained by staff from NTS on the many applications of telecommunication services. The result has been that each department at PSU has at least one staff member who, aware of the specific needs of that department, has the expertise to tailor the telephone system to that department, and relate their needs to NTS as efficiently and effectively as possible.

• What is a Technical Administrator?

The Techinncal Administrators Program was developed to increase the responsiveness of Networking and Telecommunications to the specific networking needs of the many departments at Portland State University. Technical Administrators are made up of representatives from each department at PSU with detailed knowledge of the specific networking needs of their department or school. The result is that Tech admins are able to clearly relate their needs to NTS as efficiently and effectively as possible.
