The following services are available from Networking and Telecommunications Services.

How to Disconnect Servcies

When moving out of University Housing, services need to be disconnected. Generally students receive one or two more NTS bills after moving out. For questions please call 5-4434 or see our FAQ.

If you have not done so already, update your mailing address with PSU using the Change of Address form at the Registrars ofice in Neuberger Hall or online at www.banweb.pdx.edu.

LRE devices must be returned within one week of disconnecting ResNet2 service to avoid being charged $100 for its replacement.

There are two ways to disconnect service:

  • Come to the NTS office, Shattuck Hall room 107, during business hours (8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday).
  • If you are unable to come to the NTS office, you may email (nts@lists.pdx.edu) or Fax (503-725-4882) you request for service termination. We need the following information to complete the request:
    • Your name, building and room number
    • List of all services to be terminated
    • PSU Student I.D. Number

How to Obtain Service

Students may obtain service by visiting the Networking & Telecommunications office, located in basement of the Fourth Avenue Building room 84.

The following information is required to sign up:

  1. One picture I.D. (student ID, driver's license, passport, etc.).
  2. PSU student ID number (issued by PSU).

The sign-up process takes about 10 minutes. After the request is submitted it takes 1-3 business days for service to be established.
